About CHALLENGE TO AMERICA: Restoring Personal Responsibility in the 21st Century
The United States occupies a unique position as the most powerful and the most problem-ridden country in the world. And the root of our country’s problems lies within the ever-increasing abdication of personal responsibility by its citizens — a responsibility the Founding Fathers were counting on when they designed the American Experiment.
Now, join Laurence J. Pino in CHALLENGE TO AMERICA: Restoring Personal Responsibility in the 21st Century, and begin this insightful exploration of the United States of today and yesterday, with an analysis of our modern-day institutions and recommendations for returning the country to a position of social, economic, political, and ethical world leadership.
CHALLENGE TO AMERICA: Restoring Personal Responsibility in the 21st Century is a book designed to be more than just read. About Larry Pino
My name is Larry Pino, and I am the Founder and CEO of Dynetech Corporation, an Orlando-based Enterprise Management and Technology Company. I've been privileged to experience substantial business and personal success. I was a practicing commercial litigator for 14 years and had the good fortune of starting a small part-time business that eventually ended up full-time. I formed Dynetech as an outgrowth of that enterprise in 2000. Since then, we've been listed on the Inc. 100 for Inner City Companies three times, the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies twice, and on numerous special entrepreneurial success lists on a state and local level. I also had the extreme honor to be selected as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005 for the State of Florida.
At the same time, I have not been without my share of whopping failures. I've made decisions over the years that cost me millions of dollars. The good news, I guess, is I had made millions of dollars to lose. The bad news, is that it doesn't make it any less painful.
I started with 50 people back in 2000, and we now have close to 600. Along the way, I realized there's not a whole lot of difference between business and life. The same rules apply whether you're talking about your wife or husband, your kids, or the people you deal with day-by-day.
